St Finbarr’s College Lagos, 2023

The motto of University College Cork rang out to welcome Ambassador Ryan, Aduke Gomez to St Finbarr’s College in Lagos. Frs Andrew and Emmanuel, together with distinguished alumni led by Patrick Doyle, led the welcome party, just as they had hosted the successful alumni dinner where the Ambassador was joined by Alice Dina, Tunde Afolabi, Kieran Murphy and Aduke Gomez. St Finbarr’s is more than a school, it’s a community which is proud of its very special connection to Ireland & Cork through its Founder the late Fr Dennis Slattery. Founded in 1956, the College now has around 900 pupils in primary & secondary classes. FoIN will be working with the alumni and the Embassy to ensure that we nurture this special relationship for the next century, especially in the areas of training, sports, music and technology.
