The Embassy teamed up with the Friends of Ireland to host a very special speaker, Susan Hayes Culleton aka ‘The Positive Economist’

for her visit to Nigeria which included events in Abuja and Lagos. In addition to meeting with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce, where

Susan was hosted by Dr Chinyere Almona, CEO, Susan also visited St Finbarr’s College (thanks to Patrick Doyle) and was hosted by the

Ambassador and Honorary Consul for a St Brigid’s Day evening with the Friends of Ireland in Nigeria.

Another highlight of the visit was an evening with young professionals hosted at the Jameson Yard in Lagos – mile buíochas (warm thanks)

to Evane and Tara for their help in facilitating what was a wonderful evening, we hope the first of many such gatherings. And thanks to our own Aduke Gomez who shared her considerable expertise with Susan to ensure the best possible ‘insider knowledge’ of Lagos.
