Aduke Gomez in Conversation with Tunde Jegede, Master Kora Player

Friends of Ireland hosted renowned composer and Master Kora player Tunde Jegede for an intimate performance in Loving Lagos.

Following a performance on the kora, Tunde had a lively conversation with Aduke Gomez, bringing guests (online and in person)

through his introduction to the kora, his work at MUSON and with international musicians.

Ambassador Ryan joined the event and was interested in Tunde’s Irish family connections as well as his work with Irish traditional musicians

such as the late Micheal O’ Suilleabhain & Donal Lunny.
