St Patrick's Day 2024

A highlight of St Patrick’s Day 2024 was the visit of Minister Seán Fleming, who has responsibility for International Development and the Diaspora in the Irish Government.

The Minister undertook a busy programme in Nigeria (before going onto Ghana), and met with his counterpart, Minister Tuggar before travelling to Lagos where he delivered remarks at the first St Patrick’s Day Business Breakfast hosted by The Wheatbaker, and addressed the annual reception hosted by Honorary Consul Guilfoyle. Amongst the highlights of the Minister’s visit to Lagos was his time at St Finbarr’s College and thanks to Fr Emmanuel, Fr Andrew, the students, faculty & the great Patrick Doyle for facilitating the visit. Thanks also to Fred Coker for arranging for the Minister and his delegation to visit Apapa Port.
