Association of Nigerian Authors Celebrating Soyinka's 90th Birthday

Ambassador Ryan and Aduke Gomez attended and addressed the Association of Nigerian Authors annual conference in Abuja in August celebrating Wole Soyinka at 90.

Ms. Gomez introduced the Embassy’s publication ‘Trailing a Seaweed Cord‘ Irish Nigerian poetry collection and the Ambassador spoke of the strong support from Dublin UNESCO City of Literature and the Embassy for the cultural work ongoing in Nigeria’s capital city.
